ISL29035: Integrated Digital Light Ambient and Infrared Sensor with Interrupt

The ISL29035 is an integrated ambient and infrared light-to-digital converter with I2C (SMBus Compatible) interface. Its advanced self-calibrated photodiode array emulates human eye response with excellent IR rejection. The on-chip ADC is capable of rejecting 50Hz and 60Hz flicker caused by artificial light sources. A lux range select feature allows users to program display brightness to suit various ambient light conditions, such as dark, normal and bright light. The wide dynamic range of 0.01 lux to 64,000 lux enhances users’ visual experience while using minimal power. The ISL29035 integrates a light-to-digital converter with an I2C (SMBus Compatible) interface to eliminate the need for a current amplifier, and ADC for interfacing to a system processor.
