SP-Cap Polymer Aluminum
Ultra-Low ESR, High Voltage Capacitors

Panasonic’s industry leading SP-Cap polymer aluminum capacitors, are surface mount (SMT) capacitors that utilize a conductive polymer as their electrolyte material in a layered aluminum design. SP-Cap capacitors are primarily used as input and output capacitors for DC/DC converters due to ultra-low ESR values, high voltage options, and the ability to withstand high reflow temperatures. Panasonic SP-Cap polymer aluminum capacitors offer capacitance values up to 560μF, voltage values ranging from 2V to 25V, and are free from temperature drift. POSCAP Tantalum – Polymer Capacitors
Solid Design, High Reliability Chip Capacitors

Stable capacitance at high frequency and temperature, with Low ESR/ESL Panasonic’s capacitor product line has been expanded with POSCAP tantalum-polymer solid capacitors. These solid capacitors utilize a sintered tantalum anode and a proprietary high conductivity polymer for a cathode. Panasonic’s innovative construction and processing yields one of the lowest ESR level in polymer tantalum capacitor technology, and exhibits excellent performance in high frequency applications. Offering a high volumetric efficiency for capacitance, POSCAP capacitors are available in various, compact package sizes for a small PCB footprint. Additionally, POSCAP parts demonstrate a high reliability and high heat resistance, making them the ideal chip capacitor for digital, high-frequency devices and more.
